Achieve Planner is a Windows time management software system that helps you get organized, increase your productivity, and make better use of your time.
Imagine if you could find a comprehensive time management software system that really helps you keep track of all your projects and tasks, focus on what is most important, feel like you are finally in control of your time, and dramatically increases your productivity.
Well, you don't have to wait any longer because that's what Achieve Planner can do for you!
Master Outline View: Here is a screen shot of the Master Outline View of Achieve Planner. You use the master outline to get a bird's eye view of all your projects & tasks for different life areas together in a single outline. Click on the image to blow it up to full size.
All your "to-do"s are stored as either projects (the outcomes), or as tasks (the action steps.) Achieve Planner uses tree-like outlines, which means you can break-down large items into smaller steps using as many levels as you need.
Prioritizing Tasks: You can prioritize your projects & tasks using the ABCD priority system. This will help you apply the 80/20 rule and spend more time on your most important/valuable tasks. You start by giving each item in your list one of four priority values:
A - Very important items that you need to get done
B - Important items that you should do, but not as important as the A's
C - Items that you may want to do at some point, but not right now
D - Items that are not important enough to do at all
Next, look at all your A items and select the top five to ten most important items and give them a rank. A1 for the most important, A2 for the next most important, and so on.
When you complete all your ranked A items, you simply go through your remaining A's and re-rank the next top five to ten items. You can always adjust priority values if the need arises.
Once you finish all your A's, you go through your B's and C's and choose the next set of A's. Then you just start the process again.
Achieve Planner uses customizable color-codes for each priority level, and you can use ranked ("A1") or unranked ("A") priority values.
Weekly and Daily Planning: The weekly schedule tab, which serves as your weekly and daily plan, is where you decide when you are going to work on each of your projects.
Your "project blocks" represent times that you've committed to a specific project. If you are familiar with the time management story of the "big rocks" in the pickle jar, the project blocks are your "big rocks" for the week ahead.
In addition to these features, there are also project planning features available depending upon what version of the program you settle on using.
This is a complete system and if you would like to learn more about its workings, you also get an eBook, "Discover How to Take Control of Your Time and Really Get Things Done" through this link.
