Back in a post in February 2005 -- "PC Magazine Spotlights Evernote Software ... And for Now Its Free"

I mentioned a free note-taking program for Windows called Evernote.The folks at Evernote have just released a new version of their software which has significant new features.These include a spell checker (a blessing for me), file synchronization and a lot more.

The guy who writes the Slacker Manager blog is a big fan of Evernote and writes about it in his post "I still dig evernote.". I found out about the latest upgrade via Life Hacker who likes the program too.
