Mind Media's Brainworks Left Brain Right Brain Test Upgraded

Book: Peak Performance: Success in College and Beyond by Sharon K. Ferrett.on Amazon

Update: We finally got around to updating the Brainworks Left Brain Right Brain test on Mind Media. Part of the reason is that the test is becoming an assignment to students in an ever-increasing number of college psychology classes and the test gets more traffic than any other page of the Mind Media website.

The test is free and is only twenty questions long so if you have not yet tried it, I suggest you visit the Brainworks page and check it out

Here is how we describe the test on its new page:

We all use both hemispheres of our brains to some degree, but in most people one side dominates.

Do you use your left or right hemisphere more?  Discover the role of left-brain/right-brain plays in your personality. Our popular Brainworks program is now a FREE online application. Now use it from any computer no download needed! More formally known as brain lateralization, this short quiz will show you things about yourself not revealed by other psychology tests. This left hemisphere right hemisphere brain test is the most accurate on the Internet!

peak performance bookA couple of years ago when we first put the test on line, the Brainworks left-right hemisphere brain test featured on McGraw-Hill's book Peak Performance: Success in College and Beyond by Sharon K. Ferrett. In fact we are the number one resource listed on the feature rich companion web site to the book, right on the top of Chapter 1.

The Peak Performance web site is designed to be a learning guide for the book. However, there are a lot of free interactive tests and other material that can are quite useful on their own. The Brainworks test (also sometimes called the "brain persuasion test for some unknown reason) has become quite popular with bloggers and it is not uncommon to see people take the test and put their results on their blogs.

The links for the book and the test are at the top of this post.
